National Anthem of UK

“God Save the King/Queen” is the National Anthem of the United Kingdom. It is also one of the two national anthems of New Zealand, and the royal anthem of Canada, and other Commonwealth Realms, as well as the anthem of the British Royal Family. When the monarch is male, it is “God Save The King”; when the monarch is female it is “God Save The Queen”.
Its use at state events in Great Britain was one of the first examples of a nation adopting a hymn as a national anthem.
God save our gracious Queen
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen:
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the Queen.O Lord, our God, arise,
Scatter thine enemies,
And make them fall:
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On thee our hopes we fix:
God save us all.Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour;
Long may she reign:
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice
God save the Queen.
“God Save The Queen” is in the public domain and may be used without having to obtain permission from the Government.
Isn’t it weird theirs nothing about their country or patriotism in UK national anthem. Everything is about Queen.
Our Indian National Anthem is great, it touch your heart.
