Actor and Comedian Sanjeev Bhaskar and his wife Meera Syal at Buckingham Palace in 2006. Mr Bhaskar received an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) for services to entertainment.

संजीव भास्कर भारत और पाकिस्तान की सैर पर!
संजीव भास्कर एक बहुत ही जानामाना नाम है, यहा इंग्लंद में. भास्कर अपने इंडियन स्टाइल शो के लिए बहुत चर्चित  है| यु भी कह सकते है की, संजीव और उसकी बीवी – मीरा स्याल ने अन्ग्रेजू को इंडिया की पहचान करवाई|
संजीव ने “ज़ूम बराबर ज़ूम” फ़िल्म मे एक दुकानदार का रोल भी निभाया है.

बीबीसी २ पर पिछले कुछ हव्तो से संजीव भास्कर और उसकी कुछ छोटी सी टीम दीखा रहे थे! आज उस प्रोग्राम की अंतिम   कड़ी थी ! अपने इस प्रोग्राम के दोरान संजीव पाकिस्तान के उस छोटे से गॉव में गया जहाँ उसके पिताजी का जन्म हुआ था!
उस जगह और घर को देख कर संजीव की आँखें भर आई थी! थोड़ी देर वहाँ रुकने के बाद वह पंजाब की और चल पड़ा|

Ok that’s it, I can’t write Hindi more than that. My god such a dilemma, when you are writing in English you thinks oh! You can’t express yourself freely in English and Hindi being your national language and your mother-tongue (mine is) you can be more expressive in Hindi. But my god when I started writing in Hindi, it was so difficult for me put my words together. So here I am back to my English, feeling much better…now.

Sanjeev Bhaskar was on a trip to India and Pakistan. He went to metropolitan cities of India and birthplace of his father in Pakistan. Actually he did a very good job in showcasing India on BBC 2. Hopefully our British Indian or Asian children’s will know where their roots are.

Today was the final part of his journey through the country with a visit to the state of Rajasthan, where he trial the extravagant lifestyle of the Maharaja of Jodhpur and learned how Indian royalty have adapted to life in the 21st century. Later, he joined up with a group of nomadic herdsmen and witnesses the birth of a baby camel. From there he travelled to Pune and than to Mumbai, his last destination.
