Now that I have manage to overcome my laziness and prepared myself for my daily chores, In my next post I will write about my days in India and a pure village wedding of Punjab and also very important, my first ever visit to Delhi.

And what a Christmas, everything is standstill. Complete London is on halt, buses and underground nothing is working. What am I doing? Sitting at home and sipping my soup, I am not feeling very good. Bloody weather is sick outside, raining, dark, cloudy and -3 and I still have shopping to do for my India trip, waiting for after Christmas sale. London is famous for its sale starting on Boxing Day and continues till mid of Jan.

I spend my evening watching lovely movie “Love Actually”. Have seen this movie hundreds of times and still can watch it again and again.

There is something about your aura, attitude and manner which pull people to you time and again. Giving advice, support and showing the way is, in a way, your ‘karmic’ path in this lifetime. And this path indirectly helps you too, as helping people facilitates erasing ‘karmas’.

What a beautiful and relaxing thing to read about myself. Well, every word mentioned in my today’s horoscope is true. Not going ga-ga about myself but I am a helping nature person. I like to give advice and help people around me, even if they don’t need it…..lol. But now I have learned to take a chill-pill about all this giving advice and helping people stuff, after I had some bad experiences….. bhalaayi ka to zamaana hi nahi hai!

I believe in all this karma stuff, am a very religiously fearsome person. Total believer in God and everything related to it but not orthodox! You can say I am a 50-50 of modern and old fashioned person. Total believer in God still I have reservations for people who cheat in the name of god, like all these so called saints, mahatmas and gurus now a days. Everyday we see a new face of Mahatma giving lectures on how to leave our life and what not to do to avoid being in hell after death. Who the hell knows what’s up there!

But that doesn’t mean being nasty to others, I believe in saying “Swarg Narak Yehi Hai, jo boya hai wohi kato ge”.

Dying to eat pani puri and bhel puri. Going shopping to Gandhi market for latest trend in Punjabi dresses especially the patiala salwars. Actually I am getting ready for my brothers wedding happening in Hoshiarpur. I love weddings, balle balle!

दीवाली की बहुत बहुत शुभ काम्नाये|

It’s a 3 hour drive from London to Cardiff. I was visiting my friend Niana there. Drive to Cardiff is a beautiful long drive through M4. I love long drives! Me, my family and my friend Bindu we all reached Cardiff on Friday night, Naina had brought my favourite curry chips for me which we only get in Cardiff. On Saturday we all decided to go to the Bonfire night at Coopers Field in Bute Park, just behind the Cardiff castle. Bonfire was lit at 7pm followed by the fireworks at 8pm. It was a chilly night but we had fun, especially Yash. He had his caterpillar train ride and enjoyed the firework. We came back home at around 11pm and then had ladies chat till 2 I guess! Next day, that is on Sunday we all decided to go out as it was nice and sunny outside. It was a nice day to take some pictures and to do some shopping. Day finished with having delicious lasagne in dinner. Monday early morning at 6 we started our journey back to London, why so early because Bindu and Pradeep had to start their jobs.

Overall it was a fantastic weekend, you can see that in the photographs.

I remember watching my mom buying new saree, matching bangles, applying mehndi on hands and getting ready for ladies get-together to sing Karva Chauth song and do puja. I always loved all those things.

But here in London I am all alone no female company do to puja and other Karva Chauth stuff. Pradeep listens to my Karva Chauth story and then we both wait for moon. Cho-sweet!

I wish once in my life I’ll be in India on Karva Chauth and will celebrate it with dhoom-dhaam.

Actually I was busy writing on my other blog too. But then it’s not fair with my this baby. So here I am pledging however busy I am I will always and I mean this always update my blog.

Thanks to the people who visit my blog and leave comments for me, even though I haven’t update it from quite a long time.

My busy schedule included my friend’s birthday bash and inviting my gora friends for dinner. My friend bindu’s birthday party was fantastic. We went to Ashbar for dinner, had couple of drinks, I only drink beer. But the problem is because I am not a regular drinker, so just one pint gives me a kick. Trust me I feel very good and light after one pint and I know when I get a kick. It’s a nice feeling. Same is with Bindu, her daughter Jyoti laughs at us because she never gets a kick, she only gets drunk.

Well the night was good and food was wonderful. While coming back home at around 11 we took a wrong turn and ended up on Alexandra Palace. Alexandra Palace is a lovely place, you can see whole of London from there. We took some pictures in hurry, it was bloody chilly night.

Next day I had my gora friends coming for dinner, so got busy with the preparations. Adam is not very gora, he had lived in India for about two years and been to all the metropolitan cities of India. And guess what he didn’t like Mumbai, he said Mumbai was not good to him. People are not very friendly there…I was like Ahh! Say again, if you hate Mumbai you are not my friend, I love Mumbai and hate people who don’t like Mumbai. Well, after a big argument I made him say he loves Mumbai……we mumbaikers are great I tell you.

It was fun having some friends around for dinner and wine. Got tipsy again but had fun!
